The Story of Vignette Gardens

Vignette Gardens began in 2015, when we first took on a property that was originally meant to become a design center — a space filled with creativity, art, and inspiration. But destiny had other plans.

One day, a couple walked through our gates, drawn by the property’s beauty and charm. They looked around and said, “I would love to get married here.” That single moment changed everything. What started as a design concept quickly evolved into what would become one of Miami’s most captivating outdoor wedding venues.

After several months of transformation, Vignette Gardens officially opened its doors in 2016 and hosted its very first wedding — the beginning of a story that has since touched hundreds of couples and families.

Over the past decade, we’ve grown, adapted, and thrived through every season — from the challenges of COVID-19 to countless celebrations of love under the stars. Through it all, our mission has remained the same: to create a timeless space where unforgettable memories are made.

A husband, father, and the strategic mind behind Vignette Gardens’ success, Rigo Perez is the Co-Owner responsible for the venue’s financial and operational excellence. His journey began in finance and banking after earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Florida International University. Over 12 years, he honed his expertise in organizational structure and the successful execution of multimillion-dollar projects, developing a proven method for delivering transparency and unmatched value to clients.

At Vignette Gardens, Rigo applies this rigorous experience to the world of luxury events. He ensures the company’s vision is implemented successfully, overseeing the financial framework that allows the creative team to bring dream celebrations to life. His leadership guarantees that every event is managed with precision, integrity, and a commitment to creating an unforgettable experience for every guest.

With over a decade of experience in the wedding and event industry, Luisa Loynaz is a passionate professional known for her creativity, warmth, and attention to detail. Her journey began in 2010, coordinating events and managing entertainment with DJ and lighting teams — a foundation that gave her a deep understanding of what it takes to create unforgettable celebrations.

Luisa joined Vignette Gardens in 2021 as a venue coordinator and assistant to the venue manager. Through her dedication, leadership, and genuine love for her work, she quickly rose to become the Venue Manager, where she continues to bring each couple’s vision to life.

Balancing her career with the joys of motherhood, Luisa exemplifies the perfect blend of professionalism and heart. Whether she’s managing a large celebration or serving as a day-of wedding coordinator, her goal is always the same — to make every event seamless, beautiful, and full of joy.

For over two decades, Santy Martinez has been a trusted name in the wedding industry, known for his artistry, professionalism, and passion for creating unforgettable celebrations. He began his career as a DJ, later founding Photography by Santy Martinez in 2009 — a company that has captured love stories around the world, from Italy and Mexico to the Bahamas and South Florida.

With more than ten years of experience managing premier wedding venues, Santy brings a rare blend of creative vision and operational expertise. His deep understanding of every stage of an event allows him to anticipate client needs and craft experiences that feel authentic, personal, and seamless.

Santy’s extensive network of wedding professionals and his genuine love for celebrating love continue to define his work and the lasting impact he makes on every event.

Josh C. Mayorga

Director of Growth and Technology

Josh C. Mayorga brings over 20 years of digital marketing and technology leadership to Vignette Gardens, where he serves as Director of Growth and Technology. A Miami native and multilingual strategist (English, Spanish, French), Josh specializes in transforming service-based brands through innovative digital solutions, AI-powered automation, and authentic storytelling. His expertise spans luxury hospitality marketing, SEO mastery, and cutting-edge technology integration, helping Vignette Gardens elevate its position as South Florida’s premier outdoor event destination. Prior to joining Vignette Gardens, Josh led marketing transformations for luxury wellness brands, international business organizations, and major commercial enterprises, consistently delivering measurable growth through strategic vision and hands-on execution.

Josh’s commitment to innovation and community impact extends beyond the private sector. He founded Tech For Kids America Foundation in 2012, one of the first free STEM education nonprofits in South Florida, providing community-based coding education through summer camps in partnership with Microsoft, Miami-Dade County, Code Academy, and The Lab Miami. His public sector experience includes digital solutions consulting for the City of Sweetwater, FL (2012-2014), where he redesigned the city’s website and implemented transparency tools for public records access, as well as creating websites and digital campaigns for political leaders including Jeff Atwater’s Florida CFO campaign (2016) and U.S. Senator John Kennedy’s Louisiana Senate campaign (2016). Josh’s unique blend of technical expertise, creative storytelling, and dedication to community impact makes him an invaluable asset to the Vignette Gardens team and the clients we serve.
